        It's not a troll. It's true, and you know it.

        The PC diehards on this very site constantly berate console games as being too simple, and every time a game comes out on consoles as well as PC people make arguments that the console version is why it was "dumbed down" (eg, Oblivion).

        This game illustrates it's an industry-wide phenomenon to tap casual players, period. Not just on consoles.

        So what you think is a troll is actually an argument that you were apparently too thick to see without it being spelled out for you. It also happens to be completely relevant to the thread topic. On the other hand, your reply to it WAS nothing but a troll. Classic.

          Ive never made that argument. I dont think any of the more regular posters here, other than maybe frostyboy, actually make that argument, at least in such crude terms. Whether Civ was dumbed down to make civ:rev, or how FPS should be played, are rather different question, as Im sure you aware.

          Now yeah, there are PC fans who say stupid things about consoles. there are fans of consoles who say stupid things about PCs. There are fans of consoles who say (from what I can gather) are stupid things about other consoles. Thats just fanboyism.

                              Well, not to get in the way of Asher's soapbox, but I am a bigtime PC gamer.

                              I just bought GuildWars trilogy, and love it

                              Pick up Colonization tommorrow and will let you know

                              Then will get Fallout 3 in another month or so

                              I play Tetris,Virtual Fighter and madden 2009 on XBOX 360 but prefer PC

                              Now, back to the swap meet of views
