I loved this game and BG II.

A pity that the original doesn't run properly in Classic OS so I can't play it any more.

I got to sleep with Jaheira in BG II. A shame she has such a masculine voice... scary if you ask me.

I usually had the paladin and Minsc instead of Khalid and Jaheira since I liked being a ranger/cleric and thus had druid spells.

So, if I'm using tutu, does that mean install the ease of use mod over bg1, then tutu, or tutu and then the bg2 ease of use mod?
        The usual route is:

        1.) Install game(s)
        2.) Install patch(es)
        3.) Install Tutu
3.) Install WeiDU mod(s) - these are all compatible with each other.
        4.) Install non-WeiDU mod(s) - these may be non-compatible, check readmes.

Jamski, you didn't tell him any other mods to use.

Useless. He wants a slightly different gameplay experience. How about that flirt mod?

                not again!

tutu is kind of fun. But having played BG2 before playing BG1, I just can't play BG1 anymore. I played it through twice (and a half), I doubt I'll do it again.

I have been thinking about installing BG2 again in the last few days. Civ4 is the only thing stopping me from doing that.

same here. Some of the ease of use mods look good.

                  much appreciated Jamski

                    great game

Currently trying to finish Heart of Winter. But I'm having kind of a hard time beating the Luremaster with his summoned heroes.

I don't know why, but my enemies always have huge HP and great thac0.
I once counted the HP of a fighter in a group (also featuring a djinn) I beat in the luremaster's castle somewhere. He had 300+ HP, and those boys are pounding on my -100 HP characters!!! I'm not even highlevel, got decent equipment though.

3 direct hits and my fighters are ready for the graveyard, and I can't protect them in that particular battle because dispel magic is cast constantly so my buffs are neutralized over and over again! On top of that my somewhat powerful spells can't affect the heroes (because they're ghosts or something). Then it's not easy to kill a few thousand HP (the luremaster keeps spawning heroes while transporting all the time)

FOOKIN battle! need some hints on butchering em

That's wrong, non-WeiDU mods have to be installed before WeiDU mods.

If you're playing with Tutu, you should try these mods:
                      BG1NPC Project
Giving the NPC's a lot more personality.
                      Tutu Tweak PAck
Tutu Tweaks contains all Ease of Use components that are relevant for Tutu.

I still remember too much about BG so I'm not having as much fun. So I traded an extra copy of KOTOR I had lying around for the Icewind Dale Ultimate Collection - I haven't played any IWD games yet, so that should be fun (and yes, I realize there's less story focus and more dungeon crawl - that's ok). It's coming from Japan though, so I have to wait a week or so.

I've played both the full BG series and IWD series, and I would be hard pressed to say which I enjoyed more. I have no doubt that the BG games gave me more hours, more enjoyment, more epicness, but I played all through the IWD games in multiplayer with my brother.

You may or may not like the IWD series after having played the BG series, but you seem to know what is coming your way, so have fun. They are still good games in their own right, although I doubt I would have played them had I never gone through the BG series.

Yes I did the pantaloons through the BG series. That was one of my favourite parts, that players who bother to play through them all are rewarded. I also had an ultimate main character because of using ALL the tomes I found in BG1TSC on my main AND using all of Lum's Mad Machine's bonuses on my main. BG series was one of the best years of my life!

I finally made it through Durlag's Tower!

Didn't make it through the last time I played. That chess board thing is a real *****. The Demon Knight was down right easy compared to that.
