Going through BGII again, after seeing this and interest peaking again 
Doing quite well so far, done the Keep, Slavers and Mae'Var's guild, as well as a few subquests.
Doing a Kensai/Mage, as I've never taken one beyond the second chapter, and they seem a lot of fun to play. I'm a typical "keep mages at the back and launch spells" type of guy, so this is a new style of playing a mage for me. I have a quick question though - at what levels do you get the Kensai attack/damage bonus? I know it's every three, but is that 1, 3, 6, 9 or 1, 4, 7, 10? I took him to 10 anyway, as he was quite a bit above 9 when he reached 9 (just below 9, then 50,000 quest XP). But he's feeling the lack of armour already, when he's not got armour cast on him.
