My opinion is that our casus belli is pretty much against this one idiot, so we should just focus on him. If other BOF members start to retaliate (which is probably going to happen eventually, given that we ARE hitting them; no idea how much internal communication they have, so we won't know if any retaliation is independent or coordinated), then yes, we can start attacking those members (though without violating the bashing rules, of course).

I doubt they are a cohesive alliance. They are a breakaway group from a breakaway group and some of their members have broken away to form another alliance.

Worst part is I could have fleetsaved, but I only had about 1/2 an hour in the morning and did a quick send of my cargos with my resources to my home planet but not anything else (but my home planet is also at risk so I didn't want to risk too much there either ).

Either way, not a huge loss, I will take it back from this guy eventually, just may take me a while (by the way he is also Hellas ).

There are a lot of them, that's all and they're making huge mistake by raiding unorganised and making enemies all around instead of picking out alliances one by one.
I suppose every last alliance of top 100 (including us) is just waiting to rise in power enough to give em back some.
I expect that there's some 'critical mass' after which all the smaller alliances will be just going on a mad rampage against Hellas (they must be having lotsa res ).

In other news - the faith is back in BOF alliance while the saint is not but is noob to me so I can't hit..
