    No Weyoun? No Dukat?

      I tried.

Just couldn't get them both on the station at the same time, in a plausible manner.

Everytime Dukat appears it's always off-station, as with Weyoun.

Kills are in, I'll do the writeup sometime today and get this going.

Thanks for the edit rah. It bugged me just as much as it bugged the others.

Yeah, it's a shame; they are two of the best characters.

In the stories, con you please use our real names and not the in-game names, or at least put the real names in parentheses after the in-game names?

True, that was amazingly complicated last game.

For now, I'll just do the characters.

The rest I'll leave as is. I may change this if people feel the stories are too complicated with just the characters.

I will however, spell out the kill after, and note it with the cast, so it is much more apparent who has died, and who is left.

                  Captain's Log.

Just one of those days, it seemed. No sooner did all the negotiators for Bajor and the Federation assemble did they have to dismiss the proceedings due to security concerns. However, unlike the previous worries, this one troubles me even more.

Our plain, simple tailor, Elim Garak, is dead. Chief O'Brien found him slumped over his workshop, cutting a bolt of his fine satin. According to standard procedures, despite Garak's numerous covert activities, Dr. Bashir conducted the autopsy. His agenda for the day listed a raincoat, as well as the satin nightgown, both paid for in advance with strips of latinum. I have no doubt he had other activities planned, but what these activities were is not going to be left on his data padd in plain sight.

Garak apparently suffered no visible injury, but upon further investigation, Dr. Bashir discovered the cause of his death. He attributes it to a highly illegal and contraband modification of a Federation sonic drill. The drill, when modified, rather than drilling into metal, shatters the eardrums of the victim.

I have since assigned Constable Odo to investigate further. My suspicions are an assassination, but I am unaware of any rivals to Garak currently present on the station.

That being said, I must also wonder about the arrival of Tora Ziyal upon the station. Given the nature of Garak's death, Kira has assured me that she has kept to quarters, and has just begun to acclimatise to the station. As the only Cardassian with a previous link to Garak through Dukat, she is unfortunately our primary suspect.

The situation at Quark's also appears to have worsened. Constable Odo reports that the bar staff, and dabo girls, including Leeta, have been gathered together by Rom to organise a strike. They have raised the possibility of bribing customers to stay away from Quark's to enforce the picket line. While prefereable to intimidation, this will only escalate the situation.

Tomorrow, Shakaar has promised to resume the negotiations regardless of the security dangers. I am once again beset by Kai Winn who insists upon further measures to properly protect Bajoran dignitaries. Hopefully, I will be able to convince her that the measures taken will be sufficient to ensure their security. The last thing I need is yet another headache here on the station.

With Dr. Spike dead, it is your job to find his killer.

Bold your suggestions, as per the normal custom. The sooner votes are in, we can keep this rolling

Well that sucks - killing one of the most "active contributers" straight away. :/

EDIT: Typo, not that it matters as I was quoted below anyway

Who would do something like that?

But remember, Garak had many enemies and few friends. He was a spy after all. Dr Bashir (Reismark) is his best friend and Tora Ziyal (Adagio) his girlfriend.

As a woman, it's my duty to kill off any competition, especially the beautifull ones.

Rom: Everybody should see how fetching my wife Leeta looks!

Leeta: Oh, Rom. It got me many more episodes. No, just kidding. Rom is lovely on the inside, and well, not bad in other departments.
