I'm not the killer, but that thing was known even before the game started. The most obvious clues indicate Ari Rahikkala is the mafia. I couldn't name him before his vote, but now when I'm dying I can speak freely.

It used to be these main popular FG games progressed quickly: with players eliminated within 24 hrs and sometimes the turn stretching to 48hrs. Now the norm seems to have reached almost a week per turn.

OTOH we all love the added 'colour' that Smiley and Snoopy have provided.

Can we not strike a balance.

I'd love to have deadlines that frequent - but to some extent, a lot of people this round haven't been that timely. For the rest of the session, i'm going to expect faster responses, of course but that's because we're down to very few people ...

I think that having large FGs like this - with 20 members or more - means you take longer, at least at the beginning. Also, people participating for the first time, perhaps, will find out that they're not as interested as they thought they would be ...

Fittingly, they decide it will be by poisoned Kool-Aid, which he drinks himself, throwing his nose up at them while he slowly slides to the ground...

And then there were six ...

Bill, Dave, and John were sitting at the Random House table, in the afternoon, wondering what was going to happen next. They were down to six, from the original group of 22, and they couldn't help feeling depressed about the situation.

"Come on, guys ... buck up!" said John. "We have to present a good face to the crowds. There are hundreds of fans here, and we have to smile and shake hands and do all the things that the people who sell our books deserve. If it weren't for them, we'd not get anything!"
"John - we're just waiting to die, don't you see? No matter what, we die. We have tried everything ... and we have the blood of eight of our own on our hands, don't forget. Seven, I guess, since Anne was the right one ... maybe six, if it was really Tom Wolfe, but we've been wrong nearly every time before. What's going to change it this time?" said Bill.
"Yeah... John's right. We need to present a good face here. Heck, if we're going to die, I'm going to die with a smile on my face. And clean underpants ... hopefully ... guess that depends on how I die, though ..." said Dave. "Well, I guess I can try... but I'm not going to the bathroom, no matter what," said Bill.

Hunter, Paul, and David Sedaris cluster together at the Simon and Schuster exhibit not too far away.

"Ahh, that's some good stuff," said Hunter. "1982, i think, if i'm not mistaken ..."
"Haha, good one Hunter. They'd never give you something older than about three months at a place like this," said Paul. "You're just letting the tension get to your head."
"Oh, I do not know. This tastes pretty good," said David Sedaris.
"Yeah, but you two were after all both pretty close to being chosen earlier today ... I think it's just the stress."
"Sounds more like you should be stressed, haha," said Hunter. "Being right next to two possible killers ..."
"Hey, hey, don't push it, Hunter," said David. "If you're going to kill him, just do it."
"Yeah, you too, bub," said Hunter.
"Hey - please guys, let's not get into a fight here," said Paul. "Or if you are going to, let me get away from here first ..."

Paul inched away, and headed to his Houghton Mifflin exhibit. David Sedaris also went over to his exhibit at the Time-Warner annex.

Bill, Dave Barry, and John were sitting around the table, all staring off into nowhere - the same nowhere, oddly enough.
"I'm off to go buy a soda," said John. "Be back in a sec." He went off towards the soda stand.
A few minutes later, Dave said, "Hmm, bathroom ... be right back!" He wandered off the other direction, towards the bathroom.

Dave and John run into each other a few feet from the table. Literally; John's coke spills a little bit on Dave. "Hey, get that top on properly," said Dave. "That Coke is pretty sticky, it will ruin my ... oh, yeh, it's just a shirt, nevermind."
"Sorry ... you can borrow one of mine if you need," said John.
"Nah, I've got plenty," said Dave.
They walked up to the desk - and saw Bill Bryson, fallen across two seats, his neck broken in two places.

If I understand it right, there won't be more than one more chance after this one, Jon Miller. We're five now, after this vote and a (possible) new kill, there will be 3. So, I suggest we stop the killings in time.

After reading the story again, I get the feeling that Ben Kenobi is the killer.

Too bad I can't change my vote.

Nickolai is a replacement player after being killed in the first round.

My character says he saw the killer and it was either John or Tom, and Ljube is already dead.

Also, dave barry, john irving and bill bryson(the victim) were sitting together. 2 people left, me and John. Bill dies while we are gone.

However, I know I didn't do it, so that leaves.......... John Irving.

When I'm killed the next round you know who to vote for.
