Civman2000 needs to get into the spirit of things. Or else.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

In self-defense, I feel obliged to change my vote to duke o' york (EDIT: never mind, see below). Not that I think it's him, but one of us is gonna be offed, and I know I'm not in the mafia, so certainly killing him couldn't be any worse...

In my defense, I never change my avatar at all for anything. In fact, I think I've had this same avatar ever since I registered. So don't go expecting me to change it for some silly game like this.

Secondly, I would like to note that I jokingly requested not to be mafia in the signup thread. That, of course, makes me an obvious suspect. But would a good GM really make me mafia? Unless they were using a sort of twisted reverse psychology, it would make more sense to avoid the obvious suspects and instead make it harder to guess.

Lastly, from my vague knowledge of physics, my nobel prize was won for work on the basic properties of the fundamental particles of quantum mechanics. This has essentially nothing to do with generating massive electric charges and electrocuting people. Instead, I think it's more likely that someone whose nobel was related to superconductors is in the mafia (though unfortunately there are quite a few of them; I don't have the time to compile a list now (EDIT: Though a quick investigation shows duke o' york to be one of them...).

I honestly have no clue who is the mafia, other than that it isn't me. But as I said above, if I get killed that's one innocent dead for sure, so I'll vote for the poor duke to minimize the chance of that happening.

I kinda believe Civman so if it's between him and Duke of York it's hard to choose.

I reckon if you don't change your avatar this game you are a dead Duck of York anyway

Those who claim they are not the mafia are always suspects in my book.

the method of killing used is basic physics, not anything that requires special knowledge, any of us could have done it.

I haven't read the bio's for all players, but did you only look at birth-place or also where they grew up? And what about people from other english speaking countries (England, Australia, etc)

Some GM's pick random numbers others don't
In theori game x could have the same mafia's as in game x+1

The fact that someone "sounds" American is pretty far-fetched. Someone who's grown up in Europe but, say, watched TV a lot as a child and had an American parent could all well sound American, but not be American per se. My own accent is also slightly Americanish, though I'm trying to get rid of it in favour of a more neutral one. Stupid TV.

Well if I somehow manage to survive this round (perhaps by changing my vote ) then can someone post a suitably-sized image of Dr (Prof?) Cooper, because my work computer won't let me do anything with images.
