* Yes, he does say seven in the afternoon. I guess it means 1900 hours.

I am not sure if I should have translated that though, my plans to leave France might appear... suspicious. But really, who of you would not seize the chance to avoid a docpile, innocent or guilty.

loinburger's previous theory seems the best France has to go on. Danton's unbreakable alibi for the whippings suggests that he might be guilty of something else.
