C&C:Generals is something like 2.4 or 2.7 gigs, and it fits on two CD's.

FS2004 is 2.7 gigs IIRC, too.

The isntalled version might be, but the CDs can't be more than about 1.5gb if it only has two cds.

The Sims 2 does indeed have 4 cds. Hopefully it doesn't require a full install... and if it does, hopefully it isn't as well compressed as C&C generals must've been.

        • Yeah, the install size and how much you can get on the cds are different things. Usually the size required for installation is what's given.

You mean the installer is 2.7 gb?!

Unless they stuffed a whole bunch of useless crap on the CDs, yeah.

              • 3 gigs? Is this some kind of record?

                • And in all that 2.7 gigs they couldn't add the ability to place furniture against diagonal walls?

                  • Judging from the fact that one can have windows etc. on them, I guess you can have furniture too.

                    • Nope, furniture is not possible...

And considering how they probably have programmed it, there's a huge difference between furniture and windows...
This space is empty... or is it?

                      • Is that confirmed? I mean, I read in one of the reviews last day, that for example chairs can be pulled in to the table, to take less space, so that sounds weird...

                        • I read in a review where they said it still wasn't possible...

And to put a chair under the table wouldn't be that hard to program...

                          • No, but that was not what I meant either. I mean, if they bother to program that, why don't they program the other thing?
