    • My first Sim; Deiter Zeitlin

He's an obsessive neat freak (to the the point where he has to clean the toilet and shower after every use) and extremely serious. Especially about himself. He likes to make a statement - the more outrageous the better. So much so that by the time he was finished decorating his house and buying the essentials (many of which where emberassingly budget conscious) he only had $96 left. So he had nothing to to except sit on his porch and watch the clouds.

Untill some neighbourhood sims decided to stop by and welcome him to the community, anyways. Bored and looking for entertainment, Deiter jumped at the opportunity to make a scene and immediately started engaging them in arguments. Within a matter of minutes everyone was yelling, poking, or teasing each other, and one woman was even reduced to tears.

Unfortunetly I didn't get many good snap shots... and the ones I did get where low res (I don't know if you can change that...). I'll try to watch for better photo ops next time I play.

        • How long does a day take in the game? Is it like the first game where you struggle to get your sim washed and fed before work?

          • Time goes by slower, I think. I don't really know by how much, though.

            • I only played for about 2 days gametime, so I haven't had much time to see the game... time goes by a little slower, but not much...

Of the 'important' issues I've seen by now is:

              1) Girls can marry girls
              2) Apparently there's an engagement period (from looking at the icons under friends, there's an engagement ring, and a wedding ring)
              3) You now have weekdays and weekends... you don't work all days. Which days depends on which work (my sim who works at the military has wednesdays off)
              4) The fears and wants are overrated. They change too often...
              5) There's tons of things to do to the house... I've only seen a few of them for now...
              6) Even though I started in an empty neighborhood, I've already gotten 3-4 visitors
              7) The sims makes better paperplanes than I do

That's what I've noticed so far...
This space is empty... or is it?

                • What I like most so far is the interaction between people and the environment. If there's a group of people around, they'll pick up on things happening around them. If someone yells at someone, the mood quickly spreads and other people around them start geting sour, for example. That's how it went with deiter. The three people came to the door, and he came down and greeted them. they all started talking to each other, and then deiter starts yelling at one of them, and instantly the conversations start turning negative and people get argumentive, ect...

                  • It's funny how the aging progresses, though. It's like this: Toddler -> 10 Year old -> 15 Year old -> 20 year old -> 70 year old. I guess that says alot about who the game is targeted for.
