I'm not to picky about upgrading civ3 graphics, the size and quality would be fine for me. The source seems very promising I hope everything works out. Maybe a good CTP2 editor could be fashioned from it.

So hell DOES freeze over on occasion! There's still the issue of the license under which it will be released (PD, GPL). But that'll eventually be sorted out.
In the meantime, as a Civ2/Freeciv player, I welcome CtP2 to the club!Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

I edited the titled, hopefully to everyone's satisfaction and understanding (I'm open to suggestions if not).
John,
In your thread, I think a good way to categorize the list would be by type of issues, as well as content: is it a bug fix, an improvement of an existing (more or less) working part of the game and or a completely new feature? Examples:
- Fix the sea sprite bug
- Improve AI naval usage
- Add PBEM diplomacy
This because, as a rule of thumb, bug fixes involve relatively little work, improvements somewhat more and new features the largest amount of work. And although there are plenty of exceptions, the order of priority should probably also roughly be just that: bug fixes first, improvements second and features additions last.
