If I got it correctly it is not only CtP2 source code that is pending for release to the public but also C:CtP's, right?Comment

It's all a big mishmash of both codebases. Last count, there were like 1.8 million lines of code. I don't know how much ATVI cut, though.-30-Comment

Err yes, there is no "official" statement, but Activision doesn't want to do anything with CtP anymore. When they release the source, they will make a statement. And yeap, there's no guarantee yet, that's bad.
