  • Sorry Solver,

but the ones I was interrested in, I bought quite a while ago .

    And for the rest:

I think let's wait before we really get into detail...............

I think it is to soon to do anything (except collecting the list of fixes/bugs/improvments/etc/etc........)

      Fine by me. Thanks.
      John,
In your thread, I think a good way to categorize the list would be by type of issues, as well as content: is it a bug fix, an improvement of an existing (more or less) working part of the game and or a completely new feature? Examples:

      - Fix the sea sprite bug
      - Improve AI naval usage
      - Add PBEM diplomacy
Excellent idea, yes. I knew there would be a sensible and simple categorization, and that looks to be a good one.

      • "Hey, people, I think that all of us should go out and buy an Activision game now... "

I promise I will when the source code is released:-)

        • I have just seen activision's games list and... well... there are only RTS or Action games.

            • I have MTW.

The strategic side of it sucks. It is in a class of its own as far as I am concerned for being the worst game I ever played as far as game flow and interfaces go. Meaningless menus, small hard to read messages and menus, no auto cycling or orders for units on the strategic map, and I could go on for a week.

But I will stick to my promise and buy an Activision game if the code is released. Cross my heart Activision.

Will publicly announce that purchase and provide proof when it happens.

              • he he - do you think we could get away with buying some of their older games.........like CTP2 maybe(that would be my third copy)
                And still honour our word?

Alternativly you could by an older PlayStation game, we have here for instance Civilization2. Yes they published the PlayStation version of Civ2, the logos of MicroPose and Activision on one box. Very interesting isn't it, espeacily if you consider what we could find in the source code CTP2, if these particular comments aren't stripped.
