You know, Apolyton is one of the reasons why I remember my time offset relative to most commonly-used timezones . Then again, I've been saying for several years that the Internet needs a standard time, instead of everyone using their own.
About the CtP2 code... I find it almost ironic how Civ4 impacted the whole thing. Pre-Civ4, source-modified and modded CtP2 was probably the best Civ game out there. And I really believed that an "official" Apolyton Edition could gain popularity among non-CtPers here. Now, though, we have Civ4, which I personally consider to be a better game, and, of course, Civ4's modding abilities, which are great - it's entirely fair to say that they exceed the abilities of CtP2, before the source got released. And the size of communities is absolutely different - the CtP2 community maybe has two around dozen members, counting the no-longer active ones like Locutus or yours truly. Ehh, good times, good times .
