Troll we can play a game at the weekend if you want to.

Dont mind troll space is boring. Its no good if you dont the maximum number of citys on the land.

Just thought I'd come down memory lane...

Sad to say the accusations of cheating liberally sprinkling throughout this thread is the precise reason I gave up playing PBEM those years back in the first place...

I think something a poster called Gavrushka says sums my position up almost exactly...

I do not feel confident to play against certain people now(...). I think I simply do not know most people, and well frankly do not trust their integrity, which is a shame. I prefer to play the straight forward unmodded game with no cracks, no cheats and well since I know and have seen demonstrated what people CAN do, I am lead to assume some people WILL do..

A bunch of new players arrived from I think a different community, bringing with them a whiff of controversy about cheating/gamesmanship to our little community, for the reasons above, I just figured I'd had a great couple of years without having to worry about people cheating and thought it was time to leave...

Grandpa Troll has allways enjoyed the game and yes in and through suspect play I have found some core players I can and do trust

Nice to see you around Mobius..back in the day, I believe I went by the MP name on either Patton or Dr Danger

This was back in the day when Paul,Pin,Yoda,BerXpert,Dr Black,Quebec,Aero Luistano and many more enetred these hallowed halls

Dont worry there are not much ctp players left.
But we play sometimes just for fun.
Everyone trust the other no problems everything is wonderful .

I want us to finish this season then focus on an exciting new season.

I also ask you to consider a series of Succession Games. A Succession Game is where all players are on one team. Each player plays 10 turns and then hands the reign over to the next in line. You simply post in the particular thread that you are playing and download the save and post the results, highlights and possible shortcomings, basic strategy you set up. The next player can follow or change his mind, which makes it so interesting!

I love to try to motivate and inspire. I do not dictate nor demand. This is a gaming site and a family of fun location! Lets have fun, use strategies and tactics. But have it an enjoyable environment all the way through.

Please feel free to contact me and lets get various discussions underway.

I would encourage expediting any games that have been dragging on and if it is by consensus agreed upon, let us prepare our next season.

Though I'm an old PBEM player, I just want to tell....

Do NOT underestimate the value of CityWalls. Not because they protect against slavery - but 4-6 fortified ancient/medieval units behind that wall do often defeat an attacking stack of 9 cavs!

It might not be something "new" to most of you - actually it shouldn't be new to me either.... but it was.

Up to modern units, the CityWalls gives you an excellent advantage, when you are under attack..... it's never to late to learn/adopt new ways to play this game.
