      Oh, I am very glad that we have now and wish we had you among us 2 weeks ago You're very effective at catching issues here. And you'll be happy to know that I've fixed the province captured "from player 1" and the shrine thing already.

          Oh, don't underestimate the Council. Their provinces are pretty tough defensively. With less than 1000 men you have very little chance to take anything from them.

            I was looking into the public forum every once in a while but I'm a lurker at heart

            With less than 1000 men you have very little chance to take anything from them.
            One 4,6k Stack in their territory and a few thousand more moving towards North Shore They won't resist

                And a Crash to Desktop without error message. Can't reproduce it, pretty sure it wasn't me, seemed like between turns. Maybe you can figure it out.

                    Seen something like that once... could never reproduce it, as crashes without an error may actually be the engine's fault. So that's not something that would be fixed for an upcoming bugfix update, but it should at least be quite a rare event.

                      By the way, I couldn't resist and turned on Autoplay in your save file. Even though the bigger Mystic armies were bigger than Castillar's best, Castillar won just by the virtue of capturing enough provinces first. Now I'm curious as to how your game would end

                        We'll see about that
                        I find the unit movement pretty unintuitive, I'm fighting more with the engine/interface than the AI atm. Grabbing units can be really difficult and when they move from one province to another I'm never sure if and when they will arrive. But that whole problem is not easy to describe

                          I know what you mean, and yep, I've seen that too...we have talked about maybe making the whole map bigger, but here again, what we're seeing is a limitation of the engine we're currently using (and one of the reasons we're in the process of looking at a new one). That particular problem is largely about z-order, as I understand it.

                            See if you can explain these problems. The interface is definitely something I'm not expecting to be very good. It's rough, and I often just miss ideas about how to best do something. So if you have ideas on how to improve those parts, throw them at us.

                            Oh, and please confirm that you do have access to the other forum.

                              Another crash.
                              Moved troops from Elynthia to Misty Vale and when merging them, boom. Unforunately not reproducable.

                              Shall I upload log and autosave despite that ?

                                Yes, I have access to the private forum.

                                Regarding unit grabbing: It seems as if I have to hit exactly an area a few pixel at most, everything else results in the province description showing. Especially bad is it in the rightern most provinces, i.e. the right starting province of the mystics.


                                Can one of you try to move the troops in the attached save from Argenia to Vestford ? Tried it for 3 Turns, doesn't work, but moving to North Shore is no problem.
