Got the same message when I captured North Shores which had been captured by Castillar a few turns before. Just FYI.

          *whistles*

The Castillars are at NorthShores? Wow...what turn is this, and are the Mourngryms still alive?

          Inquiring minds, and all that!

This is weird. Dasgardia had already a shrine, and now after building a temple I can build a shrine again ?

Vel, just look at this save, then you'll know :-) I started a new game with the mystics cause my first game wasn't going anywhere, too many mistakes in the beginning leading to a too strong castillar.

OH, most excellent! It's not too late to stop Castillar from that position (tho I feel bad for poor Mourngrym), one thing I'd definitely do is use that burgeoning espionage you've got to extort the HELL out of Castillar holdings (start with their most populous and working down from there)...cash for you, and it'll keep them poorish at least. Good healthy influence stocks too, good to see!

Next iteration, I'm angling to include a Mystic event that'll give them a freebie province (Vargalas...following the story arc of the novels), which should help their somewhat slower beginning.

                GREAT that you're enjoying it!

Oh, and also great that you love the music! I can't tell you how many samples my wife and I listened to...sheesh! And then JMarks composed a third piece and it all fell together rather nicely.

Now that is a glowing recommendation!

And just wait till you see what we got planned for future builds! If you like it already, you're gonna love where we're headed!

Solver and I are manning the stations here, so will be readily available if you encounter anything amiss (or if you just need to take a break and chat), so let us know if we can be of assistance and enjoy!

I'm very glad to hear that as well! Believe me, I'm almost as happy as Vel! And I can foresee some update fun soon!

There's a random event where a thief steals from you. Choices are formal investigation (-750 gold) or hire assasin (-765 gold & - 1 honor). Intentional ?

And I'm experiencing some funky bouncing of my armies, I think Vel described that in one of his play reports. Wanted to attack Eastgate, next round I was attacking Westkeep and the other round the one to the east ( M-something).

Yes, which part exactly are you surprised about? The second choice is good if you want to be infamous. If you're surprised about the amount, that's what we had, although we can definitely change if that seems awkward

And I have to ask, what did you think of the SMAC-style building quotes?

Yep...that's the intentional value, and you know...I'm sure I had a specific thought in my head at the time when I penned that value down, but I'll be darned if I can remember what....
