Last year I proposed more cooperation to the Gaians. I also inquired about their war with the Conclave, if they want this war or would rather have it cease.

In their reply the Gaian Lord Geo once again ignored my cooperation proposal but instead said:

The Gaian Protectors fight a war of attrition and cruelty against the evilest scum that roam on Planet. We will not halt this war before the last fanatic has been brought to a justified end before the stomach acids of our Sealurkers, or there "Sister" bows before a Gaian tribunal in surrender!

The Hive urges all factions on Chiron to condemn the Gaians for their unprovoked violence! They seem bent on starting a world war. In addition, they admit to violating the UN Charter, by saying they are waging a "war of cruelty" and they want to see all Conclave people (who in their black-and-white thinking they all consider fanatic) in the stomach acids of Sealurks.

Surely the Planetary Council cannot tolerate this??

The Spartan Federation, although retaining amicable relations with both the Gaians and Believers, acknowledges the Lord Geo's right to attack should he decide it is neccessary to foster his nation's spiritual advance. As the Gaians are weaker than their opponents when it comes to its industrial output, their victory would be also the triumph of the will and courage. Any faction has the right to attack a stronger neighbour, and must face extinction if it fails.

The Spartan Federation will take military steps against any faction who intervenes of the Believers'behalf in this unfair duel. Colonel Kirov urges all factions to keep neutrality and watch the progress of the conflict.

It was Sister Miriam that upon first contact with a Gaian scout challenged, attacked and sunk a peaceful explorer near Morgan territorium.

The anger our leaders (and the Gaian people) express is merely a result of this unprovoked attack, and shows their determination to not let their spirits be quelled by religious fanatics.

My contacts within the Conclave indicate that they would be willing to sign a truce if asked by a third party. Even if the Conclave made the first strike, that does not justify your apparent intent to start a genocide of the Conclave people. Your refusal to consider mediation in this conflict has made you the agressor in the current situation.
