A lot of state flags would be unrecognizable at such a small size. I mean some of them are just a crappy seal on some sort of monocolor background. Only easily recognizable state flags like the Texas flag should be included

I know. I preferred them too, but I don't have them all, so if anybody wants to complete the set, feel free to do so.

How many shields do you have? If you have the complete set then it is worth doing it. You could try the width of San Antonio in your post bit. Probably a photoshoped sample would be good. Take your post bit and replace your country flag with the shield and then let's see, maybe start with half of the size.
