Actually some people are unfit to be posters.
Mods have to make hard decisions and can't be expected to be perfect.
People that whine about it should probably look at there own history and maybe grow a thicker skin.
Mods routinely are abused and attacked but heaven forbid if one even thinks about responding in kind. Mods are human just like all the other poster. Posters need to respect that more but I know that won't ever happen.

A poster that is a dick 95% of the time complaining when a mod is a dick 1% of the time is really quite hilarious. (And just so some don't get too crazy, I'm making a generic statement here without any specific poster in mind, based on my many years of experience)

Based on the apparent lack of moderation around here lately, at least as far as I have seen(And I don't go to off topic), Im not convinced there actually is any kind of standard to be a moderator.

Possible, but I consider it unlikely. My persona is to kid around - where is the humor in saying that your grandfather was death-marched? Dickgirled, yes; death-marched, no. Even had somebody thought I was just making a rather unfunny and tasteless joke, my violent reaction to rah's malicious libel should have convinced them that I was not joking.
