Only 4 running backs were suggested in the first round, with the rest be WR's.
Christian McCaffrey was the number one pick, but then the next 6 were WR's.

If he couldn't run he'd be an average QB and he's limited by his receiving corps but his legs buy time and he seems to have settled down more looking to pass with that time instead of taking off running. I imagine thats the instinct for just about every running QB. Remember Fran Tarkenton? Lamar's showing more patience.

I loved watching that guy run, he was like a chess master the way he set up his blockers while he did these little dance steps to give his blockers time and maintain balance so he could propel to either side

Had to wait until 2 am to see the KC game on NFL network. Impressive win on both sides of the ball. I really was expecting Achane and Mostert to run around and thru the Chiefs but the KC run game was much better. Its too bad people drafted Rice only to see the chemistry and attention blossom late in the season.
