Slow has 4 picks remaining, one of which has to be a kicker. Here's what he has:

QB -- has Stafford and Manziel. I would be uncomfortable with that; maybe Sloww isn't. (Stafford bye isn't until wk9, and I would never consider Manziel...)
RB -- has only 4
WR -- has only 4
TE -- has only 1

Maybe what he needs is a few fliers at W/R/T. Under BAPAY rules, he would be getting TE2 here, followed by 2 WR5/RB5.

For TE, we have Tyler Eifert, Heath Miller, Travis Kelce, and others.

I'm not trying to direct the effort here; that's Koyaa's job. Just summarizing the situation so we can, in hive-mind fashion, give Slowwy as good a team as we can under the circumstances.

I'd vote Eifert, of that set. Again, I think Manziel is a sufficient QB2, and no real need for QB3 in a 10 team league. Ben will have to drop some of those silly picks at some point. (Heck, I know a good fantasy player in another 10 team league who is planning on having no QB2...)

I think in general you should stick as closely to the BAPAY rules as possible, keeping in mind the reasonableness of the picks since this is a special situation (ie, not doing dumb BAPAYs).

BAPAY for W/R/T would be Jacquizz Rodgers.

There's quite a range of players there. Hartline, Harry Douglas, Ted Ginn Jr. Marvin Jones if he wants to take a flyer.

BAPAY for TE2 would be Delanie Walker.

BAPAY for QB3 would be Smith, Palmer or Tannehill.

I would go TE2 with Walker, there's a big dropoff after, but that depends if you see Manziel as a QB2 or no, in which case I'd go Carson Palmer. Still lots of flyers left.

Ok, if BAPAY TE2 is Walker, then that's a good choice. I'd have him on the board at a similar location to Eifert.

Marvin Jones is out 4-8 weeks so probably not an acceptable BAPAY under any circumstances.

I think using BAPAY rules to decide position make sense, but using the selection guidelines within the positions is potentially too punitive for this situation. As snoopy said, reasonableness should rule. I am persuaded that his other needs trump the QB3 consideration. Also: Marvin Jones has a "could be back after week 4" injury. Screw that.

Let's try a universal ADP search and see what we come up with:

One site shows Devonta Freeman ATL rookie as top available (ADP=113), followed by Jeremy Hill CIN. Right behind them is Lance Dunbar RB DAL -- which really sounds like a Slowwy pick.
At WR, it's Hartline MIA and Kenny Stills NO, or rookies like Jordan Mathews PHI or Marqise Lee JAX.
TE: Duane Allen IND just ahead of Delanie Walker TEN.

More research: Last year in this league, Sloww drafted only one TE (but it was a decent one, ODaniels). He had 3 QBs (Newton, Freeman, ASmith) and 5-each RBs and WRs. Also, I note that he took the Dallas kicker in Round 20.

Now, if someone would swirl all that data together and come up with a draft pick, we can move forward...

I'm leaning toward Lance Dunbar as a sort of classic Sloww pick. But I'd be OK with Delanie.
