The offensive line is still a tire fire, but every other unit ranges from good to outstanding.
Unfortunately, the offensive line is the most important unit in the sport, so while the rest of the team is a 11-1 type of squad, Michigan will finish 8-4 or 9-3. Will lose to MSU, OSU, and one or two others, most likely Maryland, Notre Dame, or Utah.
Hey wait, you didn't mention Appalachian State. Aren't you playing them in the opener again? I'm sure that will go fine.

I did notice that. But he did mention a possibility of losing to Maryland. I don't know much about CFB but I'm pretty sure decent teams aren't supposed to lose to Maryland.
And here I thought Appalachian state would be favored in their tune up game.
Scouse Git (2)La Fayette Adam SmithSolomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

2015 APOLYTON FANTASY FOOTBALL CHAMPION!
The season starts off with a stunning upset of a top-10 team. Nice!
SC was favored by 10 points. TAMU won by 24. That's quite a swing. The sheer ineptitude of the Gamecock defense was astonishing, and the Aggie's was problematic at times as well.
On the flip side, Ole Miss and Boise State are locked 7-3 in a bungling snoozefest where defense is the only upside. Three turnovers apiece and I think I saw that the Rebels have had 7 false start penalties...

I've been watching it since Sakerlina-Aggie went to half, and it was apparent that Sakerlina was dead.
The Ole Miss-Boise game has been a complete brickfight, with neither competitor appears to know how to wield a brick.
Boise appears to be the better team, but they are being held back by some very curious playcalling and other coaching decisions.

On another note, Wazzu has gone down early to Rutgers 7-0 thanks to (SURPRISE!) an interception thrown by Connor Halliday. Looks like they're picking up right where they left off... which was that humiliating loss to Colorado State in the New Mexico Bowl last season.
Wazzu's air raid offense has come alive, they're now tied 24-24 after being down 21-10 at one point. But they've got no running game and their defense is rather putrid. I can't foresee they'll do much better this year than they did last season.
Elsewhere in the PAC, Utah and Arizona State have put up impressive performances against such powerhouses as Idaho State and Weber State.
EDIT: Cougars Coug'd it.
