Another one bites the dust.

Titans fired coach Mike Munchak.
Munchak met with Titans CEO Tommy Smith on Friday and was offered a chance to come back with conditions, which reportedly involved significant changes to his coaching staff. He apparently balked at the offer, and will now become the sixth NFL coach fired this offseason. Munchak managed just a 22-26 record during his time with Tennessee, failing to make the playoffs in all three of his seasons. The Titans have major concerns at quarterback and running back entering 2014 and figure to target an offensive-minded coach as his replacement. With Al Golden widely expected to leave the University of Miami, Munchak is likely no longer a candidate for the Penn State job.

He's not getting 400 yards. If all goes well, Smith will not throw another pass all game. Exactly like what I was telling you. Luck will lose and throw 40-50 times and Smith will call it a day with no more than 25 pass attempts and your idiot self will say Luck played better.

Smith has 3 TDs, 200 yards in a half. I'm not exactly sure why you're arguing that his running is what's killing Indy.

Okay so play your base defense and let the mobile QB's run for first downs at will. That's what happens if you don't spy mobile QB's. They dodge or run around the blitzers and hit the second level before the DB's close the gap.

Think about you being a defender covering a WR on an out route. The QB starts running laterally in your direction. You stay with your man and he easily runs up and gets the first down before you get to him. You break from your man and run to get to him and just before he passes the line of scrimmage, he dumps it over your head to the WR you were covering. Your damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Being mobile is a huge asset. Do you think all the teams going for mobile QB's are just filled with idiots? If you can get the right mobile QB, you have the next Steve Young.

Yes, I think the teams with mobile QBs are idiots when they could have someone like Brees, or Rivers, or Brady or Manning. Or Romo. You know, elite QBs.

In 2013, 9 QB's had 60 or more rushing attempts (Newton, Wilson, Kaepernick, RG3, Pryor, Alex Smith, Geno Smith, Luck, and Dalton). Foles and Manuel had 57 and 53 carries in prorated seasons.

The 9 mobile QB's have a combined 84-49 (.631) record.

Mobile QB's won 63.1% of their games in 2013.

In 2012, 7 QB's had 60+ carries. They went a slightly worse but still well above average 56-40 (.583).

When defenses supposedly would figure out mobile QB's, mobile QB's did even better this year.
