The waiver priority is recalculated on Wednesday and all waiver transactions are done based on that updated priority list.

You make it sound as if it's intuitive and obvious when it is anything but. What is this alleged "recalculation" you refer to? This isn't math! Does league-wide demand change waiver priority? WhyTF should it? When I'm listed as #1 and put in a claim, I damn well expect to get that player. Yet in that situation, in week one, it didn't work that way. And because I didn't think I needed an alternative, I got nothing. Thanks, Obama.

Since I'm already down three starters in Auction (4 in IDP btw), it would be nice to have some clarity. But for now, I'm contenting myself with putting in massive claims and hoping it works out.

The auction league should be the only one that changes and is based on the standings. IDP and DST are both on a continuous list that shouldn't reset.

Clarity for auction:

• Weekly rolling list based on standings w/ FAAB or without: Waiver claims are processed in reverse order of standings, and each successful claim moves a manager to the end of the waiver priority list.

So it should start out each week in reverse order. The last place team as of Wednesday at midnight (when the waivers are processed, not when you submitted them) gets one waiver claim, and if it is used they go back to the end of the queue. Then the next worst team, etc.

I believe I made the exact same complaint last year when I had Jacquizz and Ronnie Brown as my RBs.

Also the reasoning behind the recalculation method is that the bad teams should have an opportunity to rectify that at some point so that people like me don't hog everything.

I think this is only really presenting an issue because of how the waiver dates are set up. I locked everything starting thursday which means a player released on any day but tuesday wont clear waivers until wednesday but they become locked again the next day. ill change that.

IDP is Deviations and... everybody else. Only 15 points seperates you from last. Would be nice to beat the number 1 team in IDP this week to go 2-1.

I see that the players dropped today are "Waivers 9/20" instead of "Waivers 9/25" (which they would have been under previous setting). So thanks, MRT.

I thought it was really weird that players dropped as part of a Wednesday waiver award would not be awarded to a new team until the following Wednesday -- thus forcing them to miss a game. Considering that mid-season waiver claims are generally done to cover a bye week or a minor injury, that was downright weird.
