What's wrong with that? I'm making it clear it's a contingent trade. If duke says no but snoopy is interested but duke picks my guy, I've made it clear I won't be trading with snoopy. Did I not make that clear? What's wrong with that, given that the fact that it's a contingent trade is made clear?

No, I'm not going to have 1 pick in the first 2 rounds. That puts me at too much of a disadvantage and you at too much of one

It would be swapping picks, you move down in 1st, move up in 2nd... and then maybe in the 4th when I pick first in the 4th round, you get to move up there, as well.

But you're picking 11th and that's a little too late. I think my guy could be gone by then.

Vick? How do you know I don't want Ray Rice or Peyton Manning? Tom Brady? Drew Brees? Michael Turner? There's a crapload of talent out there for these next few picks and anyone would be lucky to have any of those guys (well maybe not Turner. He's a ticking time bomb)

And, I could be wrong, but it seems more advantageous for me to move up than to let someone get selected and then try to get him from them.
