Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

With all the talk of Luck being the #1 pick next year, it got me thinking.....
Sam Bradford, after being selected #1 by the Rams, had a pretty impressive rookie season.
Cam Newton, after being select #1 by the Panthers, is having a pretty impressive rookie season.
Luck is apparently expected to be be better than either of them....so if you are considering drafting him next year....how early would you take him (obviously there are many variables to this question given the number of teams that could end out drafting him).
Everything I have read about Rookies suggests that drafting them is chancy at best, but it seems to me that someone will take a "chance" on Luck early in most drafts....how early do you think though?

You are second to last in points. I don't know if you have been hitting "anything out of the park." Plus, I am going to crush you this week . Projected win by 5.25 points .
*cough*
4-2, baby!
Thanks for Cam.

Depends on what team he ends up and what system they'll be running. I did a 180 on Cam when I found out Rob Chudzinksi would be the Offensive Coordinator.

Deviations still 3 for 3 leading leagues in points scored, putting up 7.8%, 6.4%, and 2.3% more than second in each - alas, only in 1 of 3 leagues does that matter, and that's the smallest of the three. Disaster comes on little cat feet.
Poly Cap:
1 Deviations 571.08
2 Demoncaps 557.95
3 RAH's Crappy pix 511.85
4 Dallas Dwarf Tossers 506.18
5 Mingapulcos 488.51
6 Ice Hawks 487.54
7 Vicious Rabbits 478.04
8 berz 476.91
9 ajhebelteam 473.77
10 A Dead Horse 451.21
11 RB's RBs 433.40
12 Meh 421.25
13 Four Racks 414.48
14 U Jealous 411.59
15 Ramsey's team 395.69
16 Da Boyz 393.38
17 the youngest of them all 392.72
I love being 4th in IDP scoring while 1-5, in sole possession of 11th place out of 12.
Obviously, the problem is my defense -- giving up over 11 ppg more than next-closest team.
I gots the magic, baby!

Al, I need some of your patented deep-WW-sleeper picks, both my WRs are out on byes this week in my espn league. Who you got?
I'll have someone for you by Thursday. It's a little early because injury news is premature at this point.

I, too, own Jahvid Best, for those trying to minimize the overlap with my cursed team.
In my league for money, I have had Peyton Manning, Miles Austin, Marques Colston, LaGarette Blount, Aaron Hernandez, Brandon Jacobs, Knowshon Moreno, Mario Manningham, and now Jahvid Best who have all missed games to injuries with minor injuries to Percy Harvin and TB Mike Williams. Fortunately, except for Peyton Manning, none of them are out for the season or anything. Phew.
The only players I have who have yet to get hurt are Brandon Marshall, Jimmy Graham, Fred Davis, and Maurice Jones-Drew.
