Missouri with a two game lead? Holy Cow!
In the West:

WTF is going on in the SEC?????????????????"I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration." - Hillary Clinton, 2003

Welcome back Boise State. Wow. I never thought they'd be back in the top 25 but here they are. Two loss LSU drops out of the top 25. Wow. Florida State doesn't jump because Clemson was a fraud. Awbrun jumps big with the win vs A+M. Houston falls to 11, but they lost to a pretty solid BYU. So that has to be taken into account. UCF jumps up big.Last edited by Ben Kenobi; October 20, 2013, 02:20.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

Johnny Football was fantastic, again. If A&M had a Defense they'd be awesome.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

7. No one. No other team is anywhere near the above based on resume/performance to date, and I might be being very generous to the Buckeyes."My nation is the world, and my religion is to do good." --Thomas Paine

UNDEFEATED REPORT
Vaya con Dios: Cocaine Tigers, Papa John Avengers, Youkla, Houston who is so lame they don't have a dismissive nickname
REMAINING (10)
ACC(2): Florida State (vs. NC State), Miami (vs. Wake Forest)
Big 12 (2): Baylor (at Kansas), Texas Tech (at Oklahoma)
B1G (1): Ohio State (vs. Penn State)
MAC (1): Northern Illinois (vs. EMU)
MWC (1): Fresno State (at SDSU)
Pac-12 (1): Oregon (vs. UCLA)
SEC (2): Alabama (vs. Tennessee), Missouri (vs. South Carolina)
No one with an open date this week, and no games between undefeated teams. Most of these teams will be big, big favorites.
>95%: NIU, Baylor, Alabama, Florida State, Fresno State
85-95%: Ohio State, Miami
70-85%: Oregon
Slight favorites: Missouri
Slight dogs: Texas Tech
We'll probably only drop one team this week, and while I've been targeting Mizzou for a while, they're still breathing. So I'm looking at you, Red Raiders.

Alright, there's a clearish top 4:
Alabama
Oregon
FSU
Baylor
Followed by:
Ohio State
Missouri
Stanford?
Oklahoma State?
Miami?
Oh hell if I know. But UCLA, Oklahoma, Clemson and maybe TAMU are now hovering around the edges. And Oregon State is looking really good, despite that embarrassing first lost. It's easy to believe that if it weren't for that, they'd be close to the top 10 this week. But they play Stanford next week, so...
I saw the end of the TAMU-Auburn game after the fact, and Manziel was definitely horse collar tackled at the end and it should have been a flag. Calls get missed, sure, but that one was blatant and shouldn't have in such an important situation. So I'm not writing them off for coming back into the top 10 just yet.
The 62-38 score for the Oregon-Wazzu game is deceptively poorly representative of the Ducks defense. The starters held WSU to 17 points (7 points for the Cougs came off of a fumble recovery TD score) in the first half, had 4 interceptions and shut them out in the third quarter. Oregon then put in their scrubs in the 4th while up 62-24, but Leach kept the WSU starters in the whole game. The Cougs proceeded to pass on every single down--didn't hand off the ball at all. Why risk injuring your starters for a game that's out of reach? Did Leach think it would make them look better by scoring on the Ducks' scout team? Meh.
Anyhoo, haven't been able to find any stats, but is this the most number of top 10 ranked teams to lose in a single week? I'd not be surprised were that the case.Last edited by Boris Godunov; October 20, 2013, 13:42.Tutto nel mondo è burla

I do love it when the SEC gets shown up, especially by itself .
Also, Holy Crap FSU!“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
- John 13:34-35 (NRSV)
