Yep, you won this time. Unfortunately I've won by an even larger margin every other time we've done these pools, and the sad time you tried to compete with me in the fantasy pool. Not even in the same ballpark.

You get lucky sometimes. The Canucks lucked their way out of a Game 7 Round 1 loss, they lucked their way into a Round 3 win. Happens sometimes. Enjoy it while it lasts.

The fact that you keep obsessing over beating me tells me how much you respect me, and know I'm almost always right. It's the only explanation for your joy.

obsessing over beating me

First you say it was an obvious pick. Then you say it's luck. Look, you could give me credit for actually making good picks (I'm ahead of Joncha who's had Canucks the whole way at a reasonable number of games).

But you can't even admit to yourself that I earned this. This is why I point it out because you hate me. Think anybody else cares to the extent you do? No.

The reason you "never really tried" before is you stopped playing as soon as you had an abysmal first/second round, and ALWAYS because the Canucks bounced out of the playoffs. You're not a hockey fan, you're a Canucks fan. Everyone here knows it. That's why you're lucky to get the picks you did -- we all know you've never seen a Boston or Philly game before this year.

My hockey record on the site is one of the best. I just won the fantasy hockey pool again this year, which is far more challenging and skillful than the playoff picks. Haven't had access to NHL CI this year, which makes playoff predictions more difficult and more luck-based than anything else for me.

When making a series of 50/50 picks, a man who makes picks solely based on a combination of homerism (when the home team does well) and all other picks based on seed alone does not mean the man is skilled.
