On the methodology in this pool I agree with Ming that the pool should be played according to the rules set out from the outset.

The most accurate playoff pool I was ever in simply measured deviation from the result with the smallest deviation winning. If you picked TEAM A in 4 and they won in 6 the deviation was 2 --- If Team B won in 7 it was a 4 and so on-- The downside, I guess is that there are advantages to picking a long series-- picking a sweep could be very risky (with a max deviation of 7 in one series ouch--

IN a pool like ours you could calculate it out but the only question is how to handle champion picks etc etc-- I heard a couple of people debate how much it should subtract from their score--
