At present, yes. His stats are in line with his career numbers, or are a substantial improvement. He's playing well, not quite as well yet as in the regular season but the difference is about a tenth of a point in GAA.1. that his stats are worse in the playoffs than the regular season this year
Goals are goals. Whether they are 'soft' they all count the same. You might prefer a goalie that stops all the easy ones and gets totally outclassed, I'll take Bobby Lou, who can stop anything.2. that he has had a number of goals scored that commentators view as soft

Considering as they had the best offense, AND the best defense I don't realy see why this is that controversial a statement.Vancouver has all of the best players in the league.

Asher, I was a netminder for two years in my dorm league. We did pretty good, won the entire tournament when I was in net. There's no better feeling.
He has the ability to stop pretty much everything. That he doesn't has no bearing on his capabilities.
