Unfortunately. Bobby Lou playing great, but just can't stop em all.
The goal with 59 seconds left was a very bad error by Luongo that essentially cost them a game that up to then Luongo had come close to stealing.
Ben there is no universe in which a sane person can say that the tying goal was anything other than super duper soft. Can you deny this? You don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

So the boring team winning is a victory for hockey? Glad to hear that.

The Story That Wouldn't Die...
Ref a puck-pocket? Report implies he took Kane's
12:14 a.m. CDT, April 30, 2011
The plot thickens in the case of the missing puck.
Steve Miller, an 11-year NHL linesman, has been temporarily removed from working playoff games in the wake of an ESPN report on the whereabouts of the puck scored by the Blackhawks' Patrick Kane to win the 2010 Stanley Cup.
The puck has been missing since Kane slipped it into the back of the net during overtime of Game 6, beating the Flyers in Philadelphia. Curators from the Hockey Hall of Fame in Canada couldn't find it that June night when rounding up memorabilia, and the Hawks enlisted the help of Chicago FBI forensic experts to try to track it down.
In the “Outside the Lines” report, amateur video shot at the game appears to show Miller bending over and picking up a small black object outside the crease after Kane's goal. A series of photos shot by the Associated Press seems to reveal the small black object is the puck.
Gary Meagher, the league's senior vice president for public relations, told ESPN on Friday that the decision was made to temporarily remove Miller from the playoffs to avoid any potential distractions. Meagher said Miller is not suspended and the league stands behind him.

It's funny Ben but this game probably solidified my view of Luongo as an often excellent goalie that blows it in the clutch a little too often . . . . .
I suspect, no matter what the evidence says, you believe Luongo to be a choker, ergo he is a choker.

Guy:
Last night, but not the night before. They were downright anemic, but people only seem to remember Canuck losses, not shutout wins. Luongo's had the quietest 2 shutouts ever.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

What's that old quote about Grant Fuhr? He may let in 4 goals, but he'll stop the 5th one when he has to?
Yeah, Luongo's kind of the opposite.
I don't care how many hours of shutout hockey he plays. If he lets in a soft tying goal with a minute left, he's a choker.~ If Tehben spits eggs at you, jump on them and throw them back. ~ Eventis ~ Eventis Dungeons & Dragons 6th Age Campaign: Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4: (Unspeakable) Horror on the Hill ~

I even called it before the start of the third.
Bobby Lou let in 2 out of 45 shots and he's still to blame for the loss? Christ. Where has the Canuck offense (number 1 in the league) gone?
Ben-- you really should try responding to what I say sometimes-- it would make a nice change
I called him an often excellent goalie who blows it in the clutch a little too often-- That gives credit to his excellent play throughout game two-- in fact I commented that he almost stole the game-- But when you give up a goal that crappy from behind the net???? wow
I note you never denied it was a crap goal . .. instead you focused on his other accomplishments. Bottom line-- he almost stole the game and then blew it by letting in one of the most crappy goals of these playoffs-- There was no screen or deflection . .. hell if Luongo wasn't there, that puck doesn't go in. It was a craptastic goal. I challenged you to say otherwise
The OT winner was a good goal-- a very nice shot etc etc that could possibly beat anyone
Ben -- I don't think anyone asserts Luongo is an awful goalie overall-- His wins, sv% and GAA show otherwise-- But what many people are saying here and elsewhere (Dennis freaking Potvin commented similarly) is that there are questions about Luongo's play in he clutch. For you to think these questions are based on anti- Vancouver sentiment just show how absurdly biased that YOU areYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

I would add that interestingly , sentiment is that Luongo was out-goaltended in the Chicago series and is being outgoaltended nowYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

I'm not a fan of them but this is just stupid.
"Vancouver's 'Green Men' under NHL scrutiny
Visitors to Rogers Arena will not have to suffer through the distracting antics of the Vancouver Canucks super-fans, the Green Men, any longer.
Sully and Force, the neon green bodysuit clad gymnasts, have been asked to stop touching the glass and doing handstands outside the visitor's penalty box, in a complaint filed with the National Hockey League.
Eric Francis, Hockey Night in Canada panelist, found the complaint unfounded.
"The fans haven't done anything wrong, don't interfere with players and add to the ambiance of the stadium game." (The Globe and Mail)"
