Part of that is Thomas, part of that is on the offensive side of the team. Bobby Lou had two shutouts, should have been enough to carry the team.

I'm not sure most of the NHL would agree with you that this playoff run improved Luongo's stature in the league. He had some good games, but the more memorable ones were the ones that were unmitigated disasters. His overall numbers were pretty bad, relatively.

I'm not sure most of the NHL would agree with you that this playoff run improved Luongo's stature in the league.

He's only 2 playoff shutouts shy of 17th all time (which is 7). He's also only 15 away from playoff wins (Hextall). Those were and are his two weakest stats by far. He'll need another long run just to get his playoff numbers up to the rest of his stats, let alone where he will continue building on his best stats.

Getting shutouts and getting wins is great. But when it matters, you must deliver. This was the question mark for Luongo,and he certainly did not deliver.

350 wins (before adjustment) plus 50+ reg season shutouts, 7 PO shutouts, 50 playoff wins, coupled with his excellent sv pct is enough for me to put him in the hall.

That would be another 42 regular season wins, 18 playoff wins, 2 playoff shutouts. He could do it pretty easily in 2 seasons. That would put him in the top 20 in every significant stat except GAA.
