Yeah, if you consider the 26th ranked rushing offense "doing just fine."

He's only had 51 carries through 4 games. He has a solid 4.2 yard per carry average. Of course he's not going to get big yardage when he's averaging 12 carries a game.

Granted, the fact that they don't use him more may point to some lack of trust there but he is above the 4 yard average benchmark.

The Seahawks are also 4th in the NFL in passing yardage (I'm a little surprised by this but East Coast Bias I guess)... how much of this is because of a lack of a running game and how much is by design?

The only reason this would happen is the prospect of Rice not coming back at all. IMHO.

I do have a serious question though... I remember a few years ago there was some small hub-bub about Tomlinson's tinted visor. I remember reading that it was thought it gave him a slight advantage because his eyes wouldn't give away where he was going but that it was determined it was alright for RB's to wear visors but not QB's since the advantage to not being able to see where the QB is looking would be significant. Yet Vick wears a visor. His isn't dark but I still wonder about this. He's the only QB I can think of who wears a visor.

I'm not sure. Tomlinson has a light sensitivity issue. He was wearing one earlier in the season.

No I didn't. I was watching other games. All I said is that we don't know enough about Kolb, and there you are calling him 'Captain Checkdown'. Mite premature, no?

As for Vick, I despise him. Killing dogs for sport? It's one thing to me that others claim that he's a better person now, but that was never the issue. No one forced him into killing dogs, he chose to do that on his own, and even made money off it for years.

Other people might be willing to give him a pass, but I don't want to see him in the NFL again. YMMV.

To me, paired with the race-baiting in nearby posts, it sounded like a claim that the media was supporting Vick due to race. If I was wrong, mea culpa.

Claims like, (first consecutive games over 100 passer rating), etc. I can't speak for all the analysts, but I know some who sincerely believed that his fundamental flaws had been fixed.

On a personal level, I'm not objective about Vick. On a stats level, I find it really difficult to understand why he garners so much respect as a mediocre QB. Consecutive 100 passer ratings, and we have folks arguing he is better than Brady? Things that make me go hmm!

1. Please, please find me documentation of anybody, even his mom, claiming Vick is better than Brady. Hyperbole much?

2. "Captain Checkdown" was a perfectly accurate description of Kolb's performance Sunday.

Fun fact: If the trade happens this week (and reports say it will), Randy Moss has a chance to play 17 regular-season games this year. I doubt anyone else ever has.

A) I saw it referenced that Vick was currently better than Brady or I wouldn't have brought it up. I may have senior moments, but not that senior.
B) I didn't care for Vick before the dog debacle.
C) Vick isn't my problem, I have my own stuff to deal with. He's on his own, just like me, just like all others. The fact that he's paid to be an NFL QB has no weight at all.

With regards to Donegeal's fantasy team? Yeah, Vick has been a better FANTASY player than Brady or really anyone else besides Peyton Manning and Philip Rivers.

But NO ONE would ever say Vick is a better QB than Brady. Actually, maybe someone would... I do recall a certain someone claiming Doug Flutie was better than John Elway and Jim Kelly.

In my money league, I play against a Moss owner this week. Really, it's foolish to think that he will come in on Sunday to a new team and play well. The Vikes are desperate for a receiver but I doubt they'd have him play every down or target him much (he might be a good distraction to bump Harvin's value though).

Granted, someone with Moss on their fantasy team (like myself) probably doesn't have many other options at WR because of drafting a high round player like that so I would be forced to start Moss regardless even though I would expect something like 3 catches for 45 yards out of him this week.

Also, what does this mean for the Patriots? Moss was brought in because of the Reche Caldwell fiasco. Will Welker still be productive without a number #1? Will Brady? Honestly, Brady really has been on a decline since his injury and really has not been putting up numbers much bigger than he did before Moss (consider, last year he threw for 4398 yards and 28 TDs; in 2005 with Branch and Givens, 4110 yards and 26 TDs). This is not the Patriots of old with a stifling defense (their domination of the Dolphins notwithstanding) and a running game.

Can anyone think of who else is a receiver on this team besides Welker and Edelman? Can you imagine Welker and Edelman coming out as the 1 and 2?
