    • Tuesday night will be Jon Gruden's last night in the MNF booth. It's just a matter of when, not if, he takes the HC job in San Francisco after Singletary is let go. (And this is irregardless of the fact that it would be a colossally stupid move on Jim Harbaugh's part to leave Stanford.)

The game I'm interested in is tomorrow night, though. We need Atlanta to come through or BOTH the Giants and Packers will need to lose next week for us to have a shot. (If the Falcons win, then we'll only need one loss - and this is all of course assuming that we can do the "impossible" again and beat the Saints in their house, just like we did last year.)

        • Kerry Collins, always finding new ways to hinder his own team...

Not much has gone right for the Titans lately, and things took an even more unusual turn Sunday when defensive end William Hayes was injured in a freak accident.

Hayes was standing on the sideline when a Kerry Collins pass sailed high off the field and hit him in the head. Hayes was unable to play the rest of the game because of a concussion, Coach Jeff Fisher said.

          • This was like the weirdest **** ever. I couldn't believe it when the update came up saying a long run by P. Manning.

What makes it weirder is that it wasn't even like a scramble; that was a designed (maybe by Manning and not by coach Caldwell) QB run

            • Tom Brady has broken the record for consecutive pass attempts without an interception: he has 319 (and counting), surpassing Bernie Kosar's 308.

              • Seems odd that it was Kosar that held the record.

That slide could very well cost me a championship vs. Berz over at FFZ. Smart play, but geez! Two years ago, it happened to me with Westbrook...

wow, I had him on a team when that happened. But Peyton looked pissed for sliding, must of thought he was about to get plastered

You got Desean and McCoy vs the Minn D and I got ~35 pts. Still not out of range, kinda depends on how badly Philly needs the win. But who knows, NO needed the win and Colston didn't help much

Should have rolled the dice with Joe Webb over Colston, I guess. This looks a lot more doable if that TD holds up for at least a 10-pt performance. (sigh) Fortunes of war.

Peyton definitely slid deliberately. Puts them in victory formation with no chance to lose. But I could have used those 6 pts. Plenty of points sitting on my bench, too. Not optimized this week. I'm just glad I still have an outside shot. Maybe Philly will try to run up the score to help Vick's MVP chances...

                          • Pro Bowlers:
Here is the roster for the 2011 Pro Bowl. The match will be played a week before the Super Bowl on Sunday Jan. 30, 2011 in Honolulu. (*Denotes starter.

                            Ahmad Bradshaw got shafted. Seriously.

He has more rushing yards, total yards, and TD's than Steven Jackson
And more rushing yards and total yards than Adrian Peterson

                            Bull****.

And how does Hakeem Nicks not get a nod?

Riddle me this, as well... Julius Peppers is in and starting over Justin Tuck though Peppers is 24th in sacks! 24th with 8!

Charles Johnson who replaced him in Carolina has 11.5. Peppers has no business in the Pro Bowl this year.

Vick almost looks like old Falcons Vick.

Buck up. Joe Webb played very well. Who knows? Maybe he'll be what Tarvaris Jackson was hoped to be.
