Score a TD, exceed projections. Don't score, fail to reach projections (for WR/RB/TE). In terms of accuracy, Yahoo projections are pretty random for any given week, yet probably pretty close across a season (assuming good health).

Like in the D/ST, I have Brett who played and Imran had no one so I'm up ~15-0. What does that mean? Absolutely nothing. My projection - (Favre's projection - actual) is still > than Imran's projection but I'm not going to claim I'm winning.

It's a tool like any other. Yahoo usually gets better as the season wears on. If people don't like it then fine, but I've found this method useful. Sure, it isn't perfect, but what out there is?

It aint over til it's over. What is this point of wanting to know if you're 'winning' or 'losing'? You going to make a roster adjustment for the Sunday/Monday night games as a result of it? If you're not, are unable to, or, more importantly and ALWAYS, have no logical reason to change the logic based on the performance of other players, what difference does the knowledge that you are 'winning' or 'losing' impart?

Well why are the game to game projections oh so wrong then? We can check it out if you want. Compare projections to actual this week. I am confident almost no one's actual will be reasonably close (ie- within 10 yards for RB's and WR's) to the projection.

Until potential becomes history, all you can go on is history. That means history is important.
As Ben noted, it will refine as the season progresses. Or just don't use the projections. Just ignore them. Go by what you think solely. I think that's a good idea.
