just in case newbies dont know, we should have consolation brackets for both leagues

I cant speak for the commish's but everyone in a game, even consolation games, can use the waiver wire. I think thats how we've played it in the past, but Jag and Rabbit will have to chime in with their thoughts on the matter. Some leagues will limit ww activity to people in the top bracket only, or even only those people with a shot at winning the championship. I'm fine with an open ww for everyone in a game.

So what? What's so funny about that? I'd hope everybody would keep playing as if it mattered through every week. It's not right when guys know they're out of the hunt and stop caring, giving guys easy wins. Had Gore not gotten hurt, considering how Westbrook did, I would probably have beat Flash this week.

Oh and it's interesting to see how the bottom dwellers tend to make significantly less moves than the guys higher up on the standings. Imran might have been able to salvage his season if he actually had made more than 3 moves all season.

The one thing consistent that I've had going for me this year is my Bad Luck Rating. Hey, I'll take any consistency that's available at this point.
I said earlier, Deviations and I are the poster children.

So in a league for money, I win and I'm in, I lose and I need help. My lineup is:

Jamaal Charles
Ahmad Bradshaw
Andre Johnson
Larry Fitzgerald
Vernon Davis
Nick Folk

Bench guys are Brandon Marshall, Michael Crabtree, Nate Washington, Mike Thomas, CAR Steve Smith, Ryan Torain, and Keiland Williams. Sounds alright? I could swap any WR to take an RB's spot but even with Bradshaw's reduced role, he seems safer than any of the other guys I have.

The Eagles play the Texans this week. The guy I need to beat has Maclin, whom I traded him for Andre Johnson

The guy I play, funnily enough, is the guy I made two blockbuster trades with. I'm starting Fitz and Johnson who I got from him and he's starting Eli Manning, Maclin, and Blount, who I traded to him. Real interesting matchup. This week will determine who got the short end of the stick on those trades.

This guy is 2nd to last in points scored but considering that I've been beat by the dead-last and 3rd to last the past few weeks, I don't like my chances.

Everyone is allowed to use waivers. D/ST league has a gigantic playoff bracket, with a 6-team playoff and a 6-team consolation bracket. Only the two last-place teams don't get to do anything. (Just by virtue of how the Yahoo! settings work, but that is kind of LOL I guess.)

If you get into the consolation bracket, you're guaranteed 12th through 7th place. If you have a bye, then 10th through 7th. If you get into the main playoff bracket, you're guaranteed 6th through 1st. If you have a bye, you're guaranteed top 4. this is complicated. Anyway, lots of teams have stuff to play for.

So Duke and likely Imran will be the only ones not in the consolation bracket then. I don't even think Imran has checked his thing in weeks anyway.
