Well if Tuber wants to go on a rampage and destroy all the non-playoff teams, wouldn't a consolation bracket be in order?Last edited by Ben Kenobi; December 8, 2009, 15:01.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

Actually my pythagorean was 7.36 or so. So I'm slightly unlucky to be 7-6.
Love Wow have a pythagorean of 0.69, so they were fairly unlucky to go 0-13.
DDT have a pythagorean of 7.53-5.47, and were 10-3 in reality, so they were +2.47 wins.
They were the luckiest team, sucking up about 40 percent of the total luck in the league.
Vicious Rabbits had a pythagorean of 7.69-5.31, and finished 5-8, so they were -2.69 wins.
So the simplest explanation of the league is that Slowwy was sucking up all the luck from JRabbit.Last edited by Ben Kenobi; December 8, 2009, 16:03.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

Hmm?
I'm basing the pythagorean off your system. Taking the win percentage and changing it to expected wins.
But then you already knew that.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

JediBolts vs Belichick Magnets:
Second time around for this matchup. Last one resulted in a close win for the Magnets.
QB: Philip Rivers vs Drew Brees.
Lots of stories here. The old gun for the young hire. Personally, I love Brees even more than I love Rivers. I love that he's finally getting his cred as an elite QB. As much as I love Rivers, I don't think he's in Brees' class. Yet. Brees should win this matchup by about 10 points.
WR1: Andre Johnson vs Vincent Jackson
This has been a more lopsided matchup in recent weeks. This week is the time for Vincent Jackson to break out on the Dallas secondary and rack up some points. I still think Andre Johnson will top out Jackson but it will be close.
WR2: Chris Chambers vs Marques Colston. 'Nuff said.
RB1: LaDanian Tomlinson vs Ray Rice. If asked at the beginning of the season that Rice would be ahead of LT, it wouldn't have been thought as too crazy. But Rice almost twice as good as LT? No way. Rice had a poor game last week, and I don't see that changing again this week. Rice will blow this category out.
RB2: Fred Jackson vs Justin Forsett. Fred has a fabulous matchup against KC, and Forsett is still riding the pine for the Seahags. Here's where I get some points back from the LT mismatch.
TE1: Antonio Gates vs Heath Miller. Gates is far stronger.
FLEX: Kenny Britt vs Jason Avant. Britt has a better matchup but this will be closer than the score shows. Also, don't be surprised if it's Garcon vs Avant when gameday arrives.
Other options:
Garcon, Beanie Wells and Larry Johnson vs Braylon Edwards, Antonio Bryant and Derrick Ward.
Garcon and Beanie are substantially better options, but Larry Johnson is somewhat weaker than Derrick Ward. Avant, Edwards, Bryant, Ward and Chambers are all interchangeable albeit weak options for WR2 and the flex spot.
Both Ward and DeShaun are out which is an interesting balance.
K: Nate Kaeding vs Jay Feely. For some reason I think Chargers - Cowboys in the dome will be higher scoring than Jets-Tampa. Kaeding.
Defenses: Even. The Magnets are priced out at about a half a point stronger at each position, so they have a slight advantage. Interestingly, Dashon used to be owned by BM, and now anchors the safety position for the JediBolts, after the injury of Polamalu.
Projection:
It's all on the shoulders of Rice. If he gets 20 points the Magnets will win. If he gets 15 points, than the Magnets will likely lose. I know EPW considers Zopper to be the strongest team, but I consider Snoopy to be the strongest team behind EPW.
BK finally earns an upset to go to his date against Slowwy in the semis. Ben KenobiLast edited by Ben Kenobi; December 10, 2009, 06:13.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

BEN! You'll go against me if you win. You may go against EPW, but it won't be in the semis.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

It's you or Zopper, and in either case, it's a young'un.
Zopp is so funny. He thinks hiding his lineup does something.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.
