I know I'm going on and on about it, but I just can't believe he was the 2nd QB taken. I like him as a person just fine, but he was a running QB. If I was going to say it about Vick, I need to hold true and say it about Tebow.

Detroit is having a good draft, but so is Cleveland. I can hardly believe they needed a QB. They just had 2 young QB's.

Tebow was projected to go in the 2nd round at best, maybe even the 3rd.

Denver screwed the pooch by trading up to get him.

Mechanics were a concern for Philip Rivers and Drew Brees as well. As far as I can see Tebow will work his ass off for the Broncos. As for Marshall, rightly or wrongly, they are getting their players in. They played very well last year and with the plethora of picks they will only get better.

I just see him as a Vick type QB, a runner. Some like that type, I don't. That's on top of the mechanics, which he's worked on.

Bears took a safety, Major Wright from Florida. Can't be worse than the current collection of misfits - and at least they drafted for a major need.

What I read agrees with you.

Chicago simply can’t draft, and fortunately, it gave away its top picks to an even dumber team, Denver, to get Jay Cutler. Safety is a desperate, DESPERATE need, and while Wright might not be the best football player around, he’s an instant impact player because of his athleticism.

Bears took a pass rusher from Northwestern with their 2nd pick (4th round). Corey Wootton, 6-6, 270, big wingspan, medical issues (ACL surgery in Jan. 09). The Bears always draft a DE and hope this guy can develop into a bookend opposite Peppers.
