Damn, I've become an Activist Commissioner -- put active players into duke's lineup (still short an LB). Just too many zeroes in the lineup.

I really don't have a problem with it here. But I am not sure that I like the precedence this sets. Does this mean you are going to check everyone's roster every week and make sure that they make the right decisions? I personally probably wouldn't have taken such an "activist role" had I been the commissioner. I don't really think it is anyone's responsibility to baby sit another manager's team. But like I said I don't have a huge problem with it here.

Generally agree with the above... this may well have been an example of the one time it's okay. But on the other hand, it looks like this is just going to be a free win for all of us, and since it's only 13 reg season games, that's not necessarily a bad thing...

As long as you limit yourself to only changing who's starting for byes/injuries, though, I don't mind, as long as you do it for that team every week.

I certainly don't think it should be done for any other team, unless someone else goes AWOL entirely for an extended period.

This is an exceptional case.

When the trade went through, the entire roster reverts to the previous week. This meant that DukeOYork got most of his starters bounced. I know for a fact that DoY had set his team last night on the expectation the trade would not go through.

When the trade was processed 10 mins before gametime, it reset his entire squad. I don't think it's fair that manager activity should screw him over at gametime, so it's only fair to reset the squad in this one instance.

It is really annoying. It resets if you pick up a player even if you changed your roster right before the pickup. I agree this is an unusual case and don't have a problem with it as long as it is handled consistently for the entire season.

The trade timing was my fault. My dashboard said something like "Everyone has 48 hrs to file a complaint with the commish. This trade will take effect in Week 5." And it has approve/reject selection. (Since I'm commish both here and at FFZ, I don't know what the league notification to all teams looks like -- I don't see that!)

So I just assumed the the Week 5 thing would hold true and clicked "approve" while I was doing my pregame maintenance. I was even more shocked that I was allowed to change DOY's lineup after the early games had already started. It's nice for extraordinary situations like this, but I'm frankly not comfortable doing that.

As for the Activist Commish thing, I have no plans to enforce Byes and such unless, as snoop said, someone goes AWOL on us. If that happens, we'll have a discussion. But DOY has been around -- just a bit of weirdness this week. And that was my fault.

Nothing's wrong with Ware. You actually have a few points coming from a forced fumble by him, those never show up until later.

You don't get a great game EVERY game from your D players It's one of the most inconsistent stats, really (D points).

Umm, sloww has 145... and regardless, there are Lots of points still available... my team hopefully will hit 120, if not 140, and Ben's may as well, along with a few others [Jag's, yours, JR's, Deity Dude's, etc.]
