D-rush I feel sort of like the guy who takes Antonio Gates in the third round...

I actually strongly considered taking Lidstrom instead of Ryan, but thought that having my blue line and goalies all set without a single forward was wrong somehow.

If it makes you feel better, I was basically only 51% confident in the draft. 49% leaning towards a different d-man.

Actually, I meant that I feel like I took my D-man too early... if you're ahead of the rush by over a round, you jumped in too early, in general [as from #1 D-man to #2 D-man or even #3 is not a huge dropoff, just like from Gates to Witten is not a large dropoff]
