Crabtree may be exhibiting bad judgement, but Zop, I couldn't agree less on his potential.
He's good, he just needs to prove it at the next level. It's really not all his fault.
Precedent is long ago set on paying rookies outrageously. From what I read, the guy he wants to make more than is dropping balls left and right. The thing is, it would matter more if Crabtree was in camp, catching them.

Crabtree is being an idiot. Specifically, he is taking the advice of his cousin/"advisor" over the objection of his agent. (His agent is Eugene Parker, one of the more reasonable agents. Parker's other first rounder is signed.

WRs rarely make a big impact as rookies; Crabtree needs to be in camp.

He was drafted 10th. He should be paid as such. The fact that he was the pre-draft top WR means squat. He was hurt; never ran a 40. His stock dropped.

He can't play college again, can't risk getting hurt in Canada/wherever. And as a certified attitude problem/prima donna, no way will he be drafted in the top 10 in 2010 if he goes the redraft route.

Sure, he's got great potential. But if he doesn't get on the damned field, he's just wasting one of his prime earning years.

I don't take his to threat to sit seriously.
