    Continued from here:

Here is the playoff picture heading into the last week of the season:

    Here is who has clinched:

    NFC

CLINCHED: New York Giants, NFC East, first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs; Arizona, NFC West; Carolina, playoff berth; Atlanta, playoff berth.

    AFC

CLINCHED: Tennessee, AFC South, first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout playoffs; Pittsburgh, AFC North and first-round bye; Indianapolis, wild card and No. 5 seeding

Some great games next week to decide the final teams making it and the seedings.

Too bad Gmen won today. Now they have nothing to play for against Minnesota next week.

No, they don't. Dallas controls its own fate. Beat Philly and they're in, no matter what we do.

OTOH, the NFC South curse just might live on. Atlanta has St. Louis next week (which should be a gimme), while Carolina has to travel to New Orleans. NO ONE in the division has been able to win a road divisional game this year - home teams are a perfect 11-0. If Carolina can't buck that trend, all odds are that Atlanta will win the division, the #2 seed in the playoffs, and keep the curse alive.

Your Bolts are very lucky to be in this spot. Looks like they will make the playoffs now.

Took care of their own business.

Many would say it's karma that they get to settle this at home against Denver.

I figure this is who makes it.

            1. Baltimore. Easy win over Seattle to clinch AFC wildcard.

            2. Miami. Not the best team in the AFC East, but better then the Jets.

            3. Chargers. Denver loses steam, the season and their coach.

            4. Bears. Bears get their business done and the Vikings lose to the Giants.

            5. Cowboys. Philly ran out of steam last week, and the Cowboys finish them off.

They'll be favoured against Peyton Manning at home, if they get in.

Probably +1 or +2 Chargers. Going to be an awesome game if they can smash Cutler again.

Took a 51 yard FG for the Colts to beat them last time in San Diego.

How many times are the Colts going to pull that off? Less then 50 percent. Manning was quite fortunate to escape with a win.

Chargers should have been favoured over Tampa, and will get the respect due to them if they make it to their game against Indy.

Yeah, because we usually see 8-8 teams favored over 12-4 (or even 11-5, if they rest everyone) ones.

                      Furthermore:

How many times are the Colts going to pull that off?

Colts have done it all year... which is why Peyton Manning is going to be the MVP.

Joey Harrington is the backup for New Orleans, so when he was in Detroit for their game on Sunday, he was being interviewed about it and said:

"It's weird to think I was here in the hey-day"
