I think they still have a legitimate shot at the playoffs next year, with completely reassessed and practiced defensive packages, and some help in the running game. Maybe they can sign a power runner (like Turner) to complement LT and shift Manumaleuma to FB.

LT leads the AFC in all-purpose yards. He's not up to LT standards, but he just needs more carries.

Nah, Hester did just fine as Fullback. Tolbert has been a big issue this year with his blocking. If Hester can keep blocking, the Chargers run game will get back on track. They should leave Hester in and either trade Sproles for more help on the O and DLine. They've got enough backs right now.

He's in his 8th year, and pretty much carried the Chargers. He's got a lot of miles, and 8 is about when a RB can start feeling it; actually longer than average.

Well, the Saints are certainly putting forth their best foot tonight, and I really am going to hate to watch the Bears-Saints game in a few weeks - I have a feeling it will look roughly like this one Brees is making sure I go 0-2 this week (i'm facing him in both leagues, and while he only needed ~30 points in L1 to beat me thanks to the McNabbacle, in L2 he's going to better the 50 points needed by a wide margin I suspect). Sigh.

Over at FFZ, I had a 40-point lead with only Lance Moore against me. He had 21 points in the middle of the second quarter. Actually had me concerned. Thank goodness Brees started spreading the ball around after that...

Blaming the refs for your failures is always the sign of sore losers, unless you think the refs have never given your team a favorable call in its history.

Ask those who've listened to 2002 Miami Hurricanes fans go on for years.

If the Broncs were so bad why did your team let it get to that point where a call could make the difference?

Hell, you don't hear me whining about the call in the Atlanta-Philly game that was an obvious screw up. Bad calls happen. I'm sure my team has gotten a few this year that helped win a game or two as well.
