Reading about this, I couldn't help but think that this was the exact type of thing that past Giant teams would be distracted and bogged down by, and that the NFL's team of the decade (the Patriots) would just shrug off with business as usual. The Giants have a major rivalry game on the road tomorrow - looking forward to getting a clearer picture of their intangibles.

What I feared is coming to pass: It looks like my Bucs will lose their most important assistant coach after the season, when Monte Kiffin joins son Lane at Tennessee. It had to end eventually, and there are plenty of good in-house candidates to replace him - but I don't know if things will be the same next year without him.
Still, we're 9-3, and if we can win these next two divisional games on the road, the Giants are all that stand between us and a home Super Bowl.
