      • A few good games this weekend. Texas & OK State, Penn State & Ohio State, Georgia & LSU.

Michigan State & Michigan is notable. Might be pretty ugly. On the other hand, Michigan State has started its annual implosion. To be honest, I thought that trait was behind them because of the change in administration.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

        • By the way, who would have predicted that both Northwestern and Minnesota would be ranked in week 9?

Nahhh... only 71 (depending on what odds maker you are viewing)

Surprisingly enough, it is not the highest of the week.
The Central Florida/Tulsa matchup is at 72

              • 71?? wow, that is surprisingly low with the offenses of both teams.

I think the over is easily reachable in both them games.

                        Northwestern 48

                        Wisconsin 16
                        Iowa 38

                        Ohio St. 45

4 teams scored 45 points or more, and only one team was held to single digits...

                        • Ok, how about this, how about Ohio State plays UT or TT, on their field?

I meant to mention earlier, and forgot, that the Longhorn defense isn't shappy. I'd take the under on 71.

I didn't say that the Big Ten teams could beat UT or TT.
I was answering your wrongful observation that Big 10 games are low scoring affairs

                              • Florida be freaking super impressive. Cementing my opinions on them being the best team in the SEC.

Kansas St hanging in there with Oklahoma so far!
