        A good game last night...

        I plan on getting soaked today at the Cub's home opener. I hope they can get the game in.

                Yeah... the Cubs managed to get three runs in the bottom of the ninth to tie it up, but then lost in extra innings as well.

                With only one rain delay, we didn't get too wet.

                        Well, that's ok, an 88 win team + Santana, and a more improved John Maine will be sufficient to win the NL East .

                          Oof. Injury to Pedro. Who would have thought that would happen?

                          Good home opener for the Yanks. A quick, clean 3-2 win. Both pitchers were good.

                          Second game = Burnett >> Mussina. Moose actually pitched respectably, but a healthy Burnett is nasty. If he stays healthy all year (unlikely), the Jays pitching will be absolutely sick. If they could hit just a little more I'd be genuinely worried.

                            So the Phillies finally found a way to win.

                            The most amazing thing was Jimmy Rollins going from first to third on a sacrifice bunt. Pretty much won the game for them.

                            Hopefully they can scrape out a win tonight in Cincy before Adam "Put one in the L column" Eaton pitches tomorrow. Then it's back to Myers and Hamels. Looks like they have a shot at a 3-1 series.

                              And both the Cubs and White Sox finally found ways to win yesterday. I hope the Cubs get off to a better start than last year, but after going 0 - 2 against their biggest competitor in the Central... it wasn't looking good.
