The Giants won on defense. New York scoring 21 was not a huge surprise. But shutting down the Boys -- who managed all of 3 pts in the 2nd half -- was an amazing feat. It's tough to beat anyone 3x in a season, but I must admit, this one was a shocker in my world.

Both losing teams today experienced poor execution in key moments. They wrote their own tickets to early tee times.

A) Cowboys line played like crap.
B) Gurode, in particular sucked. I was afraid through most of the game that snaps in the shotgun would be intercepted, they were so slow in their velocity.
C) Do you know how Romo spent the off-week? On the beaches of Mexico with that blondebimbo*****.
Again this year, **** Romo.
I realize these are "kids" playing a game, but **** Romo and his inattention and his flippant ****ing attitude. The little bastard has read too many headlines comparing him to Favre. He has many years to go and many things to accomplish before he's worthy enough to carry Farve's jockstrap.

Romo was less than brilliant, true. But at the end of the day, dropped passes and stupid penalties did them in.

I think offensive genius Jason Garrett needs to shoulder some of the blame here as well. No worries, though. Looks like Baltimore is targeting him as their next head coach.

D) Romo missing a wide open Owens for an easy TD in the first half.

E) Crayton inexplicably stopping on a route that, if he keeps running, is another TD.

F) Stupid penalties, dropped passes, and poor tackling.

I don't think you can blame Romo for the loss this year.

If the Cowboys won (and they very nearly did) then you wouldn't hear anyone *****ing about his trip to Mexico. It is just something for old bitter fans to gripe about.
