Games are played on the field -- where New England set the NFL record for total points scored. They are an exceptional team and should be judged by their accomplishments.

I'm not a Pats fan, just an observer. But clinging to the notion that the video incidient in Week 1 somehow casts a pall on New England's entire season is pretty laughable.

Hrll, I hate the Pats, and I don't think their 16-0 is tarnished, they beat a Giants team that came to play instead of mailing it in.

The 1st round draft choice loss is no big deal, now if they had taken the one they get from the 49's................

Great season by the Pats, I only hope that Chris Collinsworth doesn't announce any more games this year.

my reverse pschology didn't work. I was resigned they'd get a perfect season, and accepted in hopes that they wouldn't get that. Problem was in the 3rd quarter I started believing the giants can do it.

The Patsa made history yesterday. They have achieved what no one has ever been able to do. Regardless of the outcome of the Playoffs, the 2007 Pats will be included in any discussion about "The best team ever" Right along with the '72 Dolphins, the Steal Curtian and the '85 Bears. However, I will admit that if they don't win, they will be at the bottem of the list. If they do win, they will be at the top.

No, it doesn't. The two are not mutually exclusive. Every team wants to be the one to knock of the Patriots even if they know doing so will make it so their season isn't remembered. I remember when the Colts went 13-0 and my Bolts beat them, that was very sweet.

Not when they cheated, I'm sorry. They aren't even on my radar for 'best team ever.'

They have to win a superbowl to recieve any consideration. How many consider the 15-1 Vikings the 'best team ever' and that team had Moss too? They got beat in the playoffs and aren't even considered the best team of their year.

We shall see. They go 19-0 then we can talk about being the 'best team ever'.

What if it was a forfeit? The way it works in the olympics, you cheat you get stripped of your medals. The players who didn't cheat get rewarded. To me the appropriate penalty would have been a forfeit of the game against the Jets, until the Pats came clean and stopped cheating. Suspension of Belichick as well, something that would actually mean something and not a wrist slap.
