That's 6 playoff teams and 2 that were close to making it. Plus, they beat the #2, #3 and #4 seeds in the AFC already. Now throw in the #1 seed from the NFC and you have them playing 4 of the top 5 teams in the NFL (aside from themselves).

Bottom line, they are more likely then not to face the Jaguars in the first round, the only AFC contender they haven't played. If I were the Pats I'd not worry about the meaningless game against the Giants but make sure I was ready to beat the Jags in two weeks.
